Who we are


The Early Years

Travel Inn was born out of passion. It was because of a deep interest in travelling and adventures that Mr Ravi S. Kalra started Travel Inn in 1987 by operating Trekking Tours in the Himalayan ranges of Kashmir, Ladakh and its surrounding areas. Prior to founding Travel Inn, Ravi worked for a leading trekking company based in Munich for six years leading their adventure groups to Indian Sub Continent. In 1990 he met his match in Gurmeet, a graduate in Economics and Sociology with interest in travel & wildlife. Together they built a team of dexterous travel professionals.

The Success Story

Our corporate office in Delhi was established in 1989 when we started operating tailor-made Culture Tours. We ventured into Wildlife Tourism around 1996 and by 1998 had widened the vistas with professional and experienced ornithologists and naturalists offering a plethora of bird watching and large mammals’ tours to all corners of India. Travel Inn went on to bag National tourism awards for being the best tour operator three times.

We are now one of the leading Destination Management Companies and easily the No. 1 Wildlife Destination Management Company in India. We also handle group movements besides tailor-made holidays to suit our principal agents’ convenience and their client’s budget. We have our overseas marketing office in London-UK to liaison with our suppliers based out of UK and Europe. The marketing office is managed by Rajan Jolly who is more than 20 years in this trade. He is happy to provide expertise and training to our principal agents as and when required…
