4. Training Programs by Travel Inn

As part of our commitment to responsible tourism, we actively conduct workshops with various stakeholders in wildlife tourism, sharing our time and expertise to support meaningful initiatives.

a. The Art of Trip Leading

On September 20th and 21st, 2023, Travel Inn organized a comprehensive training program for local Indian trip leaders at Mela Kothi – The Chambal Safari Lodge. The workshop, co-hosted by Indian School of Nature (ISN), brought together 18 trip leaders from across the country to refine their skills in wildlife guiding, group management, and sustainable tourism practices

The two-day session featured expert talks, interactive discussions, and practical learning exchanges. Highlights included dedicated sessions by our foreign tour operators on how to host clients and manage their expectations. The program also emphasized sustainability in the Indian jungles, jungle code of conduct, women as trip leaders., effective trip leadership techniques, and wildlife photography tour management.

This initiative reflects Travel Inn’s commitment to empowering local guides, enhancing guest experiences, and promoting responsible tourism in India’s wilderness.

b. Smart Driver: Better Service, Better Experience

This workshop was organized by Travel Inn on September 22, 2024, in the Kanha region, Madhya Pradesh, where we focused on training local drivers, enhancing their skills across seven key modules, including ethics, safety, and effective communication.

The workshop also emphasized eco-friendly driving techniques, fuel-efficient vehicle maintenance, and waste reduction strategies, reinforcing sustainable tourism practices. By equipping drivers with these essential knowledge and educating them in the area of sustainability, we aimed to improve their contribution and improve service standards while promoting sustainable environment. The response was highly encouraging, with 20-25 drivers participating and actively engaging in discussions and practical demonstrations. Their positive feedback after the workshop highlighted its impact, reaffirming the importance of such initiatives in empowering local communities and enhancing visitor experiences.
